LG Launches Premium PC in Nigeria

LG electronics has introduced S1Express Dual, a15.4 inch widescreen premium notebook PC powered by Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology into the Nigerian market.

Featuring Intel’s latest dual core processor, Intel Core Duo Processor, faster 6677MHz FSB (Front Side Bus), and faster 667MHz DDR2 memory compared to previous Inter Centrino Mobile Technology. LG Electronics IT marketing team Vice President, Cho Young Kun said the S1 EXPRESS DUAL boasts of a data processing capacity approximately 1.7 times more powerful than the previous single core – based platform. The S1 EXPRESS DUAL, based on the dual processor platform, is perfect for processing complicated and divers work effectively and fast.

He noted that the S1 EXPRESS DUAL spot supervisor performance and stylish looks and boasts of a premium piano black design an elegant glossy finish, stressing that this product is expected to lead the trend in notebook PC design.

Also, the 802.11ab/g, tri-mode wireless LAN delivers a transmission speed of up to 54 Mbps, which is five times faster than the existing 802.11b LAN. Featuring the next-generation Bluetooth, the BlueCore 4, the S1 EXPRESS DUAL ensures faster and more stable Bluetooth connection. BlueCore 4 delivers data rates of up to three times faster than current Bluetooth v1.1 or v1.2 devices. It is also very stable even when a Bluetooth printer, a headset, and a mouse are simultaneously used.
