Staco Insurance Plc has opened three new ultra modern office complexes in the two geopolitical zones of the country in order to bring her services closer to her growing clientele.

The new branches are located in Victoria Island, Lagos, Effurun, Warri in Delta State and Wuse II, FCT Abuja, the Northern regional office. Seven other offices in Onitsha, Owerri, Jos, Uyo, Kano, Port Harcourt and Aba will be opened before the end of the year.

According to the Managing Director of Staco Insurance Plc, Mr Shakiru Oyefeso, "the opening of the new branches is a good development at this time, considering the fact that Staco is now a public company. Staco has identified opportunities in these new locations and is poised to take our service offerings to the larger public and be involved in strategic alliances in both the public and private sector environment," he added.

Also, the Board of Staco Insurance Plc has approved 25 kobo dividend per share for the financial year ended December 31, 2006. The figure represents N120,631,066.15 million. Staco Insurance Plc generated a gross premium of N1.68 billion in 2006 as against N1.01 billion recorded in 2005. The number represents a growth of about 68 per cent over the previous year.
