Inflation Eases To 4.1% In Sept

The nation’s consumer price inflation eased to 4.1 per cent year-on-year in September from 4.2 per cent the month before, the National Bureau of Statistics said at the weekend.

The composite consumer price index rose 0.5 per cent on the month to 170.2 points, compared to 169.4 points in August, the bureau said in its latest monthly report.
