President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua on Tuesday put paid to speculations on the future of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as regards his office following the suspension of the Naira redenomination policy announced by him. Special Adviser on Communications to the President, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi in a statement said that President Yar'Adua has assured Nigerians that all programmes and policy initiatives of the bank which fall within the ambits of its powers and authority would continue to have his full support and approval. On whether the issue of the re-denomination of the Naira is till on, he added: "For now, there is no re-denomination of the Naira."
