African Envoys Chart Path for Continent's Economies

President, African Business Round Table and Chairman, NEPAD Business Group Dr. Bamanga Tukur along with African ambassadors on Tuesday stressed the need to plough back into the continent's economies the gains of the on-going debt relief, or risk a slide into the doldrums of want and squalor. At the opening of the African ambassadors’ interactive forum in Abuja, Tukur noted that the task of development in Africa is now so enormous and overwhelming that the public sector alone can no longer shoulder the responsibility of ensuring sustainable development. This, he said reflected the need for concerted efforts and partnership at all levels of governance.
