Travelex Opens Bureau At International Airport

Travelex will from November 14, 2006 commence its bureau de change services at the international wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos.

With this development, Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos will join the ranks of major airports in the world where Travelex offers full bureau de change and travel money services around the world.

The Travelex brand is a signature presence at airports such as London's Heathrow, New York's Kennedy Airport, Atlanta's Hartfield and Oman Airport.

The Murtala Mohammed airport bureau is the first in sub-Saharan Africa. In Nigeria, the Lagos airport bureau is the first in a programme that is planned to cover the major ports of entry into the country.

Among the services that will be available at the bureau include sale of major world currencies, refund services, encashment of traveler’s cheques and vending of Travelex pre-paid cards (Cash Passports).
