Afribank, Lambert Partner On Air Charter Service

Afribank Capital Market, in partnership with Lambert Aviation Consultancy Limited have announced plans to commence air charter services for high-end clients in Nigeria using the state-of-the art Embraer Legacy 600 executive jet.


The sponsors said the venture is being undertaken as a result of clamour from corporate executives, institutions and private individuals who would who would want comfort beyond what is obtainable in the aviation industry at the moment.
Speaking with newsmen during the showcasing of the aircraft on Thursday, the Head, Corporate Finance of Afribank Capital Market, Mr. Chris Nwajie said that the project tagged ”Fly Net” offers services to people who would want to travel by air, but do not wish to be boxed into the routine flight schedules.
”We are offering alternative to people who would want private flying in an executive style. We are going to be flying into major cities in Nigeria for now and subsequently spread it to other parts of the continent,” Nwajie said.


Similarly, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Lambert Aviation Consultancy Limited, Captain Ernest Bell-Gam, reiterated that two executive jets is at the moment being showcased to corporate institutions in the country, once it is okayed, the purchase order would be made.
”These range of jet was chosen out of Nigerians desire to offer uninterrupted flights to various destinations. We are showcasing these airplanes for executive charter services, they are for our proposed clients,” he added.
