Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited has introduced a consumer Promo to reward its personal banking customers during the festive end of year period. Tagged Season’s Splash Promo, The promotion would reward customers of the bank that maintain savings and current accounts during the end of year season.

Speaking while introducing the promo in Lagos, Regional Head consumer Banking, Standard Chartered Bank, Mr. Sajid Rahman, said "Our Season’s splash Promo is being introduced to encourage improved customer savings habits. Winners of the promo will be rewarded with Honda cars and business class tickets to Dubai and Singapore between October and December 2007".

According to General Manager Wealth Management, Mrs. Ijeoma Anusionwu, Standard Chartered Bank," Each month between October and December one customer will win a Honda car and another will win a business class ticket to any of the choice location offered by the Promo."

Revealing how customers could win the prizes, Anusionwu stated that all that the bank’s customers (existing or new) have to do is to deposit a minimum of N250, 000 or $2,000 or 1,000 into their naira or foreign currency savings or current accounts and leave the fund for a period of 30days and they would automatically qualify for any of the 3 draws to be held at the end of the months of October, November and December 2007.

Speaking further, Anusionwu noted that winners would be selected by means of a computerized random selection process which would be transparently done and the presentation done publicly.
