Come next month, hundreds of insurance brokers will converge at Binez Hotel Limited, Abia, the Abia State capital for their yearly conference.
The theme of the conference, holding between October 16 and 18 is "Insurance Industry, Consolidation: A Futuristic Perspective."
This year’s conference promises to be unique in terms of the quality of resource persons and topics.
The lead paper, according to the chairman of the National Insurance Conference Committee, Alhaji Taslim Sanusi, would be presented by the immediate past president of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Chief L.E.A. Ainiuwu.
Other papers include "Understanding issues in oil and gas insurance, to be presented by the Managing Director of Custodian and Allied Insurance Plc, Mr Wole Oshin; "Maximising the potential of Insurance of Public Building and Buildings under Construction billed to be delivered by Mr Sola Ladipo-Ajayi, a past President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria and Managing Director of Lasaco Assurance Plc.
The session will also feature a change of baton in the leadership of the NCRIB.
NCRIB President, Chief Babajide Agbaje will hand over to his deputy, Chief Dede Ijere, after a two-year stint. |
